ABOUT US
Dai Tan Films is a volunteer UK video collective comprised of videographers, audio engineers and colourists based around the UK, mainly focused in Scotland and the south of England.
Starting in 2015, filming sets whilst out on tour, Dai Tan Films began as a way to promote hardcore bands from around the world online with no cost to the bands themselves. Since then we have grown from 1 camera operator to 15+ videographers based around the UK, audio engineers, colourists and more.
We began filming Outbreak Festival in 2017 and have continued to do so, we’ve filmed shows across the UK & Europe including such bands as Turnstile, Knocked Loose, Title Fight, Suicide Silence, Power Trip, Malevolence, Holding Absence, Scowl, Speed, Converge, Bane, American Football, Denzel Curry, Action Bronson, Touche Amore, Deafheaven, Basement, Have Heart, Poison the Well, Loathe, Movements, Citizen, Counterparts, The Story So Far, Chat Pile, Joyce Manor & many more.
support us
For the most part, Dai Tan Films is a voluntary group with costs for hotels/travels etc covered by ourselves or through our Patreon.
This is something we all do around our normal 9am - 5pm jobs, some of the crew work in the TV/film industry as well.
Patreon subscribers get access to sets in advance and help us to continue document and promote bands from across the UK to a worldwide audience and bands from across the world.
